Awesome Stone House

The past few days, my  mom and I have gone for a nice long walk in a "new" park that recently opened in Chester County called Wolf's Hollow Park. Its a BEAUTIFUL park and is conveniently close to my house! We took Yogi with us, and he loved it just as much as we did. The first day we walked a trail that is a little over a mile long. It took us through the woods, over creeks that were over flooded all thanks to hurricane Irene, and up and down huge hills. It was tough, but in the end, it was all worth it! The next day we went back and walked the whole perimeter of the park! It was a little over a 4 mile hike!! Yogi went with us again, so he also got some great exercise! The paths are mostly through the woods, next to creeks, over creeks, and next to some open fields where you can see for miles. At one point, you can see some old ruins of an old stone wall. As we continued to walk, we got to a part of the path that was paved. It was beautiful! There were trees that were full of pretty green leaves planted along the path, and open fields on either side. We came across this awesome old stone house and decided to break for some pictures...

One of the fields the trails goes by. I can't wait to see this in the fall!!

Beautiful.

This is the awesome stone house we saw!!

Patio area

The shutters were old school.

I love how the sky had a pinkish tint to it...makes it look kinda creepy!

Part of the patio.

I wonder what's inside that little window up there...
